Vindicativa by Angela Richardson
My name is Verona Rubelle. And this is not the start but the end of this story. I'm a famous author but for all the wrong reasons. I wrote a book that got the attention of a lot of people. Women mainly. Women looking for answers. For insight. For ways to turn it all around. To change the rules of the game.
I never expected that my book would be used like a resource. Like a guide. The focus on my methods. My madness. Is it because women can relate? I don’t know. Because in truth it all worked. It was a power like no other.
But that wasn’t its purpose. Or its point. Because what I did was wrong. Very wrong. And I shouldn’t be praised for it. I’m not a leader for our kind. I’m not some kind of hero. I was just a young girl who got lost on her way to adulthood after my world came tumbling down. All I did was I try and make sense of my pain and anger. I tried to harness my own potential in a world which is selfish and superficial. I didn’t know how good I’d be and what I would become.
So I wrote this book as a warning. How you can get addicted to the high. The ugly side of this power and the delicious taste of revenge. Words became my weapon and my beauty was ammunition.

But this isn’t just a warning. It’s a lot more than that. It’s about the rocky road to redemption and acceptance. About second chances even when you don’t deserve any. How love can grow again in the most blackened of hearts and breathed back to life from someone who never gave up on you.
And it’s not just my story but also ‘his’ story too. And I can’t tell you this twisted tale of how this all came to be without him. So I’ll start in the only place I can and arrive at this end and hopefully you’ll see the important messages so many before you have missed. Or maybe like the others, you’ll use my secrets too.

‘Vindicativa’ is a standalone new adult contemporary romance novel containing some mature sexual content written for readers 18+ years of age. The research, names, places, characters, situations and the story itself are all fictional. Any connection to real life is purely coincidental.
**WARNING: If you are the type of reader who believes that love is only for the sweet, innocent, virginal type of girl and not a villain - then this story is not for you.
