Wet Work

Short story. Rosie never intended to be a witch, but being the daughter of a fallen angel, she didn’t have much of a choice. On the run from a scary cult called the Sisters of Salem, she uses her powers to track down magical relics she can sell to the highest bidder. She’s fencing her latest find to a couple of dim-witted vampires when she’s literally scooped up by Matthias, an angel cop who specializes in “wet work.” His heavenly mission is to find and destroy demons and monsters and witches just like her.

But Rosie and Matthias have met before. He doesn’t want to hurt her; he hopes she can still be saved. But before he can try, she casts an ancient love spell, and all hell breaks loose.
