Julian Rodriguez is a werewolf.
He has been one for several years and has always kept himself away from people because of it. He recalls the day he met Damien, an older werewolf, the man that taught him everything about being a werewolf.

He is also gay, and this only further adds to his alienation. He feels like people would never accept him for who he is and is constantly scared of getting into social situations where he would not be able to handle himself and might end up acting on his werewolf instincts.

Julian meets a boy named Nathan who he quickly starts to feel very attracted to. He finds out that Nathan moved to the US after his father killed himself and his heart goes out to the boy. He befriends him and teaches him about football and they end up having hot sex.

Julian dreams about the day Damien took him to meet his pack. He remembers how he was forced to kill humans. He managed to keep his conscious clean by killing only criminals but Damien never likes this. Julian wakes up from this nightmare in his lovers arms and is glad that he is there.

Book 2

Julian and Nathan have been having regular sex. They are falling in love and Julian has never been happier. However, he can't help but feel depressed about the fact that the full moon is approaching. This means that he will have to go and see his pack, something that he simply does not enjoy doing.
