Avery has done a lot in her young life to screw up. She moved to Boston to train to become a paralegal. Instead she learned how to be addicted to drugs and beat up by men. She decided to make a severe change. She booked a flight to Alaska. She already had a job set up in Sitka. She was looking forward to it. Though she wasn't excited about taking a small plane to get there. James was the opposite. He had a life of love and joy. That was until his wife met a moose on an Alaskan Highway. He lost her and their son. He retreated to the wilderness to live alone. That is where he saw Avery's plane go down. He was able to rescue her but they would be trapped until spring. They hate each at first, but slowly love will start to grow.
