Jett West works in Jackson Hole Wyoming, but lives fifty miles away on the family’s sprawling ranch. When the “winter storm of the millennia” approaches, all of Wyoming shuts its doors, and she is isolated from the rest of the world.

Emily, her oldest and dearest friend is the only one who shares the property with her. She lives alone in the old ranch house. She’s blind, and she’s blind because of one selfish act on Jett’s part. Emily is surviving, Jett is incurably guilty.

In the midst of the storm, Jett sees a man outside her door, she gets her shotgun and faces him. As she points the gun to his belly, he teeters, and finally falls into the snow, unconscious. In what she sees as the dumbest thing she’s ever done in her life, she drags him into her home.

Isolated by the storm and trapped inside with an unconscious stranger, the real world becomes a distant thing. It begins to fade away, because in isolation there are no more real world rules. She learns her guest is not a man. He is from… another place, and in a moment of passion he takes her there. With him, Jett begins a journey to unknown places, with him she finds undiscovered emotions, because of him she must make unimaginable choices, and so she and Emily face unbelievable consequences. It’s what happens when you choose to live your life with… Beautiful gods.
