TODD ONLY WANTED TO HELP PEOPLE…

…a skill the would eventually safe a shifter's life. In this harrowing short story, Todd's lifelong goal was to become a nurse, and high school counsellors don't encourage boys to become nurses. But taking care of the sick and weak is a part of his nature that Todd cannot escape.

So when Reed Topper--a sexy , muscular bad boy alpha wolf shifter --enters the hospital holding his wounded chest, Todd's caretaking instincts kick in. Todd is professional and focused on saving the man's life, but he can't help but notice the enigmatic and magnetic attraction he has to this man on the gurney before him. Never before has someone struck a chord in his heart and mind that rings of such intense familiarity, as if he were staring at someone he knew long ago and whom circumstances conspired against to keep them apart.

Todd's evil boss Dr. Gattis sees how much Reed's naked body attracts him, and the good doctor decides to make a little “mistake” during the operation to remove the bullet from Reed's lung.
Just a little oops, Dr. Gattis thinks to himself. He will make one wrong slice in a specific artery, and then little Todd will never get a second chance to speak to his lover Reed.
The doctor is jealous, and if Todd doesn't do something fast, Reed will not survive this whole ordeal. And maybe if Reed survives, he can return the favor.
