Clara had been looking forward to her seventeenth birthday for as long as she could remember; it was the day she would finally be old enough to wed.
On the eve of her betrothal dinner, however, Clara is caught up in a ages old battle between her newly given Nutcracker Prince doll, and a muderous Rat King, hell-bent on finishing what he started decades before.

Between the cryptic warnings the Rat King spins, and the alluring smiles the Nutcracker Prince showers her with, it will take all of Clara's wit and courage to get to the bottom of this curse, and find out how she can reconcile these two very different men; one cursed as a rat, the other as a nutcracker. At the end of it all, can Clara not only break the curse, but find her true love?

Based loosely on the original 'The Nutcracker and the Mouse King' tale by E.T. A. Hoffmann, Alice gives us an adult retelling that leaves you giddy and begging for more.
