Analeigh Stone has been focused on nothing but dance for the last two years; ever since she lost her parents in a tragic accident. She is determined to get admission in to one of the most prestigious dance schools, Maximilian Hobart School of Dance and with her audition tape already on its way to New York, she is that much closer to achieving her dream. However, while she waits to hear from the school of her dreams, Ana is left with no choice but to go live with her grandmother in a small village in Switzerland called Luane. Bored out of her mind, searching for ways to keep herself occupied, Ana comes upon a castle not far from her grandmother's cottage. It is old, abandoned and charred on the inside. Since there is not much else to do, Ana enters the castle, and explores its burnt rooms. She comes upon a painting of a handsome young man and curious, she reaches out to touch it. The burnt room around her is gone and instead the walls are a creamy yellow. She turns to find herself face-to-face with the man in the painting. Just as startled as she, the young man introduces himself as Prince William Terrance Leigh of Luane and offers her a friendly, charismatic smile. Stunned, Ana reaches out to the painting once more and finds herself back in the burnt room.

Although she tells herself to stay away, the draw that Will and the magical castle present are simply too great for Ana to ignore. In a matter of days Ana is caught in a web of romance and magic that is quickly spiraling out of control. When the interview call comes from New York, Ana is torn. Dance was the most important thing in her life, or was it?
