Peach Mason first met Dr. Casey Mitchell when he was the principle consultant employed to set up the Heaven Ranch wind farm. It was Casey, who trained her to take over the management of the wind farm. She liked Casey in those early days and wondered if he thought of training her as a nuisance he endured to please her father. If he did, he never let it show. He was always the gentleman and always strictly business. In Book 3 of the Mason family trilogy Peach and Casey are again thrown together to deal with sabotage at the wind farm. While Casey tries to help Peach, his family faces another crisis. A gang of teenage drug pushers has invaded his youngest brother’s school. With the rest of the Mason’s help, Peach and Casey tackle the problems facing them. Suddenly thrown together as never before, Peach decides to act on the attraction she is feeling for her handsome consultant.
Casey has never let himself look beyond the facts that Peach is much younger than he is, that she was the bosses daughter and she currently is the boss. When Peach opens the door to another kind of relationship, Casey places his heels in the dirt as he feels himself being dragged under the bosses spell.
Clint’s long time girlfriend, Suzie Walton, keeps trying to avoid a serious relationship. She had been badly burned by an earlier romance and decided she wasn’t about to get hurt again. She’s attracted to Clint but she’s also afraid of him. Clint, the youngest Mason, refuses to settle for the friendship with no strings attached and sets out to change her attitude. After Clint transfers to the Vet Med program at Colorado State, in spite of Suzie’s fears, the young couple remains close. Now Clint must convince her that they were meant to be together. He gets his chance on summer break. When the two of them join together to help fight a disease that is attacking the wildlife and area stock, Clint goes to work to convince Suzie that they have much more than a friendship.
