Roselynd was just like any other typical eighteen yearold girl planning her next four years away at college. Until everything was ripped away from her in the dark of night, remembering every detail of the attack but the face's of the men who had invaded her home, left them free to roam and her burdened with the failure of not being able to put the men away for the gruesome murder of her family. She only remembered the demon who comanded them had cold black empty eyes that haunted her everynight in the darkness of her dreams. Though the physical wounds have healed leaving the scars as a constant reminder even now two years after the brutal attack her mental wounds were as raw as they had ever been and she seeks to end it, but instead of falling into the dark waters below her she falls into the vivd green of a strangers eyes. Dacian a hunter of the broken ones as they called them, was sent to watch the broken girl Roselynd but after watching her ponder the dark waters he could no longer fight the pull to be near her, though he couldn't figure out why, when he had looked into the deep blue of her eyes he knew there was no way he would let the girl slip into darkness to be consumed by it the way he had been long ago. Dacian looks for answer while trying to keep her from the edge but there are more dark beings lurking in the shadows of the world that would seek to take her from the light and from him. So it's with the help of Micheal a man he who Dacian would rather chew his arm off than work with, and Jasmine the high spirited best friend that would scarifice everything to keep Roselynd safe from any type of harm.
