Cady Louise Montgomery comes from a long line of rich and influential Southerners on her mother's side and was raised in privilege by cold and condescending grandparents. Her father's side is a different story- and one she knows nothing about, but a posthumous letter from her grandmother raises questions and exposes a lifetime of lies. Still grieving and running on a tumult of emotions, Cady drives from Raleigh to Orlando to confront a father she never knew. And who never knew about her. Not knowing what to expect, she wasn't prepared for what she found; because what she found was something she never realized was missing. Love, the real and true kind - of family, friends, and a most unlikely suitor. But Cady's the first to admit she's a girly-girl who hates confrontation, so when it comes time to be her father's daughter, will Cady finally realize a future she never imagined she could have by being strong enough to admit what she really wants - and realize it's been in front of her all along?

This is a stand alone, full-length novel and does not have a cliffhanger. It is an adult novel, but the sex is mostly implied and the intimacy is more suggestive than explicitly detailed.
