I feel the sensations of my body reacting to her nearness. All other thoughts but Jennifer had been swept from my mind as I feel the ache of loving her consume me. With my hand on her lower back, I keep her close, longing to find solace in her. Pressing against her, she pulls away when she feels my hardness. With a wide eyed expression, I watch the movement of her erratic breathing; the first crumbling of her wall evident, as small flames of desire begin to glow in her eyes, I see her wanting to believe me and what I'm saying.
“Let me love you.” I whisper, my voice as raw as my needs. As I begin a path from her mouth to the softness of her neck, I beseech her to surrender to me. "Please,” I mummer softly as I retrace my path to her mouth. “Stay with me.”
Like leaves in the wind, all my thoughts scatter as I crave the taste, feel and smell of her. As the ache grows, I bring her lips back to mine, tantalizing her with the tip of my tongue, enjoying my exploration of her soft lips.
In a heart stopping moment, I feel her shiver as if cold before she leans her body against mine, parting her lips to return my hungry kiss.
Questioning her with my eyes, I hold her head in my hands, feeling her soft skin under my fingertips "I want you more than life itself, Jennifer." Kissing her deeply once again, I let my words lay softly on her mouth, as I whisper, "I need to be sure this is what you want too."

Marcus Sinclair wasn't expecting to fall in love; emotions such as that had been buried over a decade ago as he coexisted with his wife, Ann, in an empty and unhappy marriage. It's not until fate steps in and his path crosses with Jennifer Connors that Marcus finds how quickly love can be renewed and dreams restored; giving them both a promise for a new life together until a reckless act brings about a tragedy; an event that has heartbreaking ramifications for all involved.
With Every Breath weaves a tangled web of deceit and jealousy, pain and loss. This is a story of confrontations and struggles between lovers and enemies; where tempers flare and desires burn as hot as the South Alabama sun in July.
