The King's Code by Samantha Saxon
WHAT IF: The brilliant young Lord who has failed to find a deadly French spy working is London is replaced by an even more brilliant Lady who succeeds?

The Romantic Times Award Winning Author of Napoleon’s Woman and England’s Assassin delivers a riveting new novel of the bold choice a passionate women makes as the Napoleonic Wars rage on…

After her reputation is ruined by a vengeful enemy of her disreputable father. Lady Juliet Pervill’s future is bleak. But rather than buckle under society’s censure, she decides aid in the war by offering her services to the Foreign Office, putting her brilliant mind to work decrypting French codes.

Struggling with a mysterious new code, Seamus McCurren is shocked when the Foreign Office calls in another cryptographer-and a woman at that. His intellectual pride is bruised, but that’s nothing compared to what awaits his heart. As Seamus finds himself incredibly-and dangerously-distracted by Lady Juliet and her provocative mathematic theories, putting both of them at risk from a seductive spy master operating right in the heart of London.

“Saxon hooks you from the very first page and keeps you up all night with her thriller romance. A cleverly executed plot, three dimensional characters, a sizzling romance and a mystery that has you guessing to the bitter end.” Romantic Times Review by Kathe Robin

Question: Why did you choose to write Regency Romance?
Answer: The Regency time period is the perfect backdrop for a spy mystery. You have these young noblemen going off to war and killing the French, then coming home to these lavish London parties where they were not allowed to speak with a woman much less touch her!

Question: Who are some of you favorite writers?
Answer: Same as a lot of people! Lisa Kleypas, Jo Beverley, Stephanie Laurens, Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, Christina Dodd, Amanda Quick (Jane Ann Krentz) to name a few of many talented writers. Contempary. I tend to read Romantic Suspense like Karen Rose, Marie Force, Suzanne Brockmann and Lisa Jackson, J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts) but again...how can you possibly choose?

Question: What are you working on at the moment?
Answer: I'm working on a very interesting Romantic Suspense trilogy with military, FBI agents, guns, murder, spies, the CIA and a lot more. But if you have read my book you know my books are never genre typical :)

Thanks for your question and happy reading!
Sam
