Tyler Cole is living his dream. By all accounts, he's a rock star and one of the most sought after bachelors in the country. He has money, fame, and fancy cars. But when a bad storm in Salvation, Indiana, brings his hometown into the spotlight, Tyler remembers the one thing that he doesn't have- Emma Wellington.

Over a decade ago, Tyler and Emma ended their romance. Tyler moved to Nashville to chase a record deal while Emma finished college and applied to law school. Life had no reason to bring them back together, but that's exactly what happens after the storm.

Tyler returns home to help rebuild the town he managed to forget, and along the way reconnects with the woman he never quite got over. But life in Salvation isn't easy, and Emma has been keeping an important secret from him for over a decade. Now Tyler is about to question everything he thought he wanted, all the while fixated on the one thing he can't have.
