Emotionally devastated after a school shooting, Drusilla Morgan is desperate to start over. When prodigal son Clay offers to take her in, she agrees if only for the chance to escape the memories of home.

But there’s more to Clay than meets the eye and soon the secrets that kept him estranged from their family for more than a decade come knocking. With Drusilla’s own past looming, both will find it hard to fight the attraction pulling them irrevocably together.
