China B. Smith is a woman on the move and searching for love. Her career as a reporter for ESPN has taking her beyond what she could imagine. The road to success was not an easy one for her, but having Al in her corner helped to make things better. With a desire to transition from sports reporting to becoming a talk show host, China believed that Al would help her to reach her goal. Unfortunately for China, believing in Al only made her path more difficult. Al wanted China for himself and he would do whatever he had to in order to insure that China would become his.

China’s heart was far away from Los Angeles, it was in Dallas, Texas. Terry Lynn Washington, a former professional football player always had China’s heart. While in Dallas, working on a documentary for ESPN, China looked up her former friend, Terry. If only she could get a glimpse of him, she would know whether or not the love she had in her heart for Terry since college was still there. Only time would tell, and China didn’t have enough time to spend in Dallas.
After connecting with Terry, China knew that her heart still belonged to him the only problem was that she could not stay in Dallas to allow the relationship to build. She makes her way back to Los Angeles.

Things become more complicated when Terry’s former wife, Brenda, tries to find her way back to Terry and their son once she realizes her money has run out. Using her sexual powers, she smooth talks her way back into Terry’s life. Unknown to Terry, Brenda’s messy web of lies will cause her to do what needs to be done in order to get the money she needs to pay-off a debt. Terry knowing that Brenda tells lies does not take it lightly when he allows himself to become involved with Brenda again. With their strong sexual connection. Will China and Terry ever get to test the waters of their relationship? Or will Brenda ruin it for them?
