Daniel listened to the birds outside of his window as they chirped. He loved birds, they were one of his favorite animals, and listening to them as one of his most preferred past times. He knew the birds were better than people, because they didn’t have any way or reason to hurt him. He was used to having everything he wanted, because he had grown up very well off and socially competent. Still though, there were times when he knew that not everything was going to go his way.
Peter moaned as a direction that it painfully against his thighs. He hadn’t been able to get rid of it ever since he woke up, and he knew that the reason was that he had seen Nicolette the night before. That woman was something else, and he knew that she was going to be the end of him. She wasn’t quite the proper lady that most of the other women wear, he was pretty sure that’s why he felt so strongly toward her.
Georgina sat next to her mother, daintily sipping her tea as her eyes scanned the garden around them. She wanted desperately to leave the company if he’s boring old women, but unfortunately she wasn’t able to do that. Everybody had somewhere that they should be, and right now she and her mother were supposed to be a tea time with old Mrs. Garfunkel. It was boring enough on good days, no they were talking about things that she could not possibly relate to.
Sam Walker eased down the road, wondering what he should do about the intense feelings he was having toward the place where his company was about to do new developments. He was a big, head honcho type of man and wanted everything he did to be perfect and wonderful. However, it was pretty disturbing to consider that they weren’t always going to be able to do quite what he wanted and he was very disappointed about that.
Tim Gord was tired of being dressed by his wardrobe specialist, flogged by his makeup people, and coached by his agents on how to get the most press. He was the most interesting and hottest celebrity to date, and had a constant following wherever he went, full of people who were anxious to tell him what to do and learn what sorts of things he enjoyed doing for himself in his own free time. He sighed quietly and allowed his hair stylist to pull on his hair and spray his head with some kind of hair spray that he was pretty sure had been banned by the government for making holes in the ozone layer at least twenty years ago.
Jacie looked around at the pool, feeling a bit nervous. As the only black girl on the team, she always wondered if maybe she would ever be singled out. She did get a couple of stares from people, and some people thought that it was strange that she was even on the swim team, but most of them left her alone. When they didn’t bother her, everything was fine. Of course, she did wondered every now and then how she ended up in this situation, where she was now a swimmer on one of the national teams.
