Daniel listened to the birds outside of his window as they chirped. He loved birds, they were one of his favorite animals, and listening to them as one of his most preferred past times. He knew the birds were better than people, because they didn’t have any way or reason to hurt him. He was used to having everything he wanted, because he had grown up very well off and socially competent. Still though, there were times when he knew that not everything was going to go his way.
Peter moaned as a direction that it painfully against his thighs. He hadn’t been able to get rid of it ever since he woke up, and he knew that the reason was that he had seen Nicolette the night before. That woman was something else, and he knew that she was going to be the end of him. She wasn’t quite the proper lady that most of the other women wear, he was pretty sure that’s why he felt so strongly toward her.
Georgina sat next to her mother, daintily sipping her tea as her eyes scanned the garden around them. She wanted desperately to leave the company if he’s boring old women, but unfortunately she wasn’t able to do that. Everybody had somewhere that they should be, and right now she and her mother were supposed to be a tea time with old Mrs. Garfunkel. It was boring enough on good days, no they were talking about things that she could not possibly relate to.
Melissa really didn’t know if it was good idea. But when she walked into the back alley to help trade off the last of her valuables for some food and money, she knew that this was what she had to do. It’s not like she had a choice, and she knew that this was the only person that responded to her ad online, and it was definitely fishy. But what else could she do? She didn’t know where her two best friends Andrew and Cody were, and instead she had to rely on her own damn self. Sometimes life sucked in that way, but she knew that she had to do this. It was something that was a part of the hardships of life.
Roberta hummed to herself as she changed the sign on the door from closed to open. It was her favorite time of the day, because she was able to look out peacefully over the items in her vintage antique and furniture store. It had been her dream ever since she was a child to have such a shop, when she met Alex, and realized that they both shared the same dream, it was as if fate had brought them together. They had known each other for three years at that point, and had been dating for most of that time.
Mary studied herself in the mirror before walking through her bedroom and into the kitchen. She was really hungry, and although sometimes she felt like food was her enemy because she was a big girl, for the most part she was very invested in making sure that she was healthy. She knew that skipping meals would just ruin her metabolism. Starving herself would actually make her store more fat. And she wasn’t actually trying to lose weight, because she was very happy with her body.
