Naya:
He calls me his sunshine, but I lived in darkness until Hakeem arrived on my clan's reserve.
I grew up in a clan scarred by death and tyranny. In the middle of civil war and a new Alpha forcing changes not welcomed by all the clans-people, I never expected to find the one person who made me ache for a future. Hakeem was supposed to be the Golden Boy who saved our clan. He was supposed to be like the rest of the high priced mercenaries that breezed in and out. He was so much more - so much more than any of us expected. And he was all mine.

The future is bright and oh so scary.
I thought I'd have Hakeem to guide me through the real world.
But it isn't the real world that makes the transition hard - it's me.
And Hakeem can't help me until I help myself.

Hakeem:
I didn't expect to return home from the White Ice reserve alive, let alone with a mate. Naya was the sunshine I held onto in the barren tundra. She was my saving grace when the nightmares became too much - when the memories of death seemed more like real life than fantasy.

Life is more complicated back home than it was in the middle of a battlefield. Fighting on own inadequacies, I'm forced to watch my mate struggle with her own transition. We're both figuring out how to exist in two different places - how to be two different people.

Every day is a struggle.
But I've got sunshine on my cloudy days.

The Valley Enforcers series is a spin-off of the Stoneclaw Clan series. It isn't crucial to read the Stoneclaw series before the Enforcers, but it is highly recommended. Each series takes place in the same universe and will reference other books, stories, and couples.

This book is a full-length novel about shifters. It contains sexually explicit scenes and is intended for audiences over the age of eighteen.
