Sweet Love Remembered

This is a short story.
The worst tragedy to befall parents is the loss of a child. Matt and Perri suffered that fate when their infant died of SIDS. Heartbreak, acrimony, and loss blew them apart. Matt went overseas with the Marines while Perri found a job in New York City.
Five years later they accidentally meet again. Old recriminations and accusations resurface. Can they stop bickering and fighting long enough to talk honestly? Can their pain reunite them or is the gap too wide to bridge?
