Three and O by J.L. Paul
Prequel to Out at Home
Alex has always been there.
He’s always protected Tabby, even going so far as to take a punch that was meant for her.
He’s been her playmate, big brother, protector, best friend.
Now, years later, he’s a baseball star and Tabby is a sports reporter. During her first big assignment, Alex isn’t around to protect her from a nasty assault, leaving her to pick up the pieces alone.
Finally confiding in him, he lends a shoulder or whatever else she needs. When the lines of friendship blurs, they’re helpless to stop the feelings. Fighting obstacles and the aftermath of her attack, the struggle to be together is rough.
Is it worth it or are they better off as just friends?
