Author Howard Aldrich was born in Cleveland Ohio and studied fine art at the University of Akron.
He has written numerous short stories and has been featured in "O" magazine, “Cats” magazine, “Fresh Ink”, and a host of other small press publications.
Howard also co-authored the cult comic, "Chakan the Forever Man: The Nightmare's Thrall" and won the 2003 short fiction contest for the magazine, "Marquis".

Howard's latest work is the novel entitled "Sonata"
A work of fiction firmly rooted in fact, "Sonata" is the story of a tumultuous love affair between unhappily married English instructor Amanda Collins and her erudite but shy student, Kenneth Johnson.
Although almost eighteen years her junior, Kenneth will introduce Amanda to a new world of sexuality filled with fetishism and centered around dominance and submission that will change her at the very core.
And in return, Amanda will challenge Kenneth's notions of the man he is while helping shape him into the man he hopes to be.
"Sonata" shares with the reader the beauty, despair, and intensity that comes when two people in love with the English language and each other embark on a star crossed collision course that they can neither contain nor control.
