Janet isn't the sort of girl the wealthy, handsome CEO of her company would ever be interested in: she's curvy instead of skinny, shy instead of confident and likes cooking instead of shopping. Then she clumsily collides with Cliff Hendry, CEO of the powerful oil and gas company, and must pay for her mistake.

Taken into his top-floor suite, Janet finds herself cuffed to his desk as the tension between them becomes thicker than the oil they sell. Will she submit to his strong and hungry hands? Or will she squirm her way out of his grasp?

Excerpt:

“I’m not sure I know what you want...” I trailed off, my mind sinking back into a state of elation. He was the CEO, he could have anyone here. Why me? I’d never been desired before, let alone given the time of day from any man.

“You know exactly what I want Janet. I want, you.” his words flowed and soothed my ear, the deep vibrations of his tone melting away my hesitation and fears. The way he pushed my hands together behind my back made my body warm and turn ripe with longing. He had complete control of my lush body, the nerves and synapses were at the beckon of his finger tips.

I was lost in my thoughts, all of the lustful musings about Cliff rushed into my head at a blistering pace, their bright and vivid imagery suppressed my ideas of sensibility. As I leaned back toward him, my nose inhaled his thick and warm smell of leathery cologne and hints of whisky. Exhausting my head, I rolled back into his chest. His chest was firm, the weight of my neck eased as it pressed into him.

My hands were still grasped in his firm grip when I felt a cold metallic object swipe across my right hand and clamp down.

“Cliff, what is tha-” I jolted and turned around

“Stay right there, trust me.” he tugged me back towards him, my weak legs stumbled and I fell into him. He propped me up and held me closer to him, I could feel him breathing heavily.

“I can’t have you wandering around, breaking things, Janet. These will make sure that doesn’t happen.” he threw the handcuffs on me. What the HELL is going on. My mind raced, unable to put coherent thoughts together, it felt cloudy and blurred.
