My BIG White Boss

BWWM Interracial

It's Eriqua's first day on the job, and she's nervous. Luckily her boss, Matin Nouveau, is more than willing to take a personal interest in her to make sure she's used to her full potential... In every way.

This book contains explicit sex scenes.

Excerpt:

“You really needed me for this?” She looked up to see Martin standing with his back to the closed door. Alarm bells rang in Eriqua’s head.

“Eriqua,” Martin strode toward the desk. “First, I’m sorry, it was a stupid trick, but if you weren’t so damned beautiful then this whole—”

Eriqua leaned forward, placing a finger to Martin’s lips. Her heart skipped a moment at the buzz from the touch of skin to skin. Damn, she thought, softer than I’d imagined.

“What are you talking about?” she demanded.

Martin flopped down into the chair where Eriqua had sat, sweating, just hours before. He twiddled his thumbs in his lap, alternately catching Eriqua’s gaze and blushing a blood-red rose.

“I…” his throat flexed as he struggled to find the words. “I’ve never been with a black woman before. I’m confused as to how this all works. I was hoping to ease into it with drinks at the bar tonight, but everyone else bailed—I think they’re afraid of how good you are.”

Martin shot up from his seat, determination glinting his hazel eyes, and taking Eriqua’s hand in his own, kissed the soft skin of her fingers. “I’m infatuated, Eriqua. You’re a goddess. Go out with me.”

Eriqua pulled her hand away, shivering from the sudden swoosh of cold where Martin’s lips had been. “I can’t. Not just yet, anyway,” she said. “I don’t know how things work in the high rises of Manhattan, but in the Bronx, a guy never really wants just dinner and a movie, you know?”

Martin opened his mouth to respond but Eriqua cut him off.

“I’m not saying anything about you.” Eriqua put a hand to her chest, her heart slamming against her palm. “This is about me right now, Martin. I just got out of a bad relationship. A man who didn’t give a shit about me, who thought I was just pussy. Living my life, it’s hard to trust people, and after what happened with Darryl, it’s even harder.”

Eriqua stood and quickly circled around Martin, making a line for the door. “I’m not saying ‘no,’ Martin, I’m just saying, ‘not now.’” She put her hand to the doorknob and saw a vision of herself shouting at Darryl. Don’t go the voice said. Don’t walk out that door. Except now the voice was coming from behind her and now she was the one ready to leave.
