Excerpt
Just then the huge man looked back at Laura and instantly she was hypnotized by his gaze. He was stunningly beautiful and terrifying all at once, but when he opened his lips, huge fangs of the vampire appeared. In a flash, he turned and buried his head into the attacker’s neck, bit into his vein and began to suck his blood from his body. It was not over in a moment like on the movies. The vampire drained every drop of blood from the pitiful criminal and he threw the dead body to the ground.

The large dangerous vampire straightened up, looking away. He produced a cloth from his robe and cleaned the blood from his mouth. Then he turned and gazed at she whom he saved. His stare seemed to rip right through her.

She wanted to be brave but she felt like a little girl. Oddly she felt like she was his girl.

“You are a vampire?” she said with a quivering voice.

“Yes my love” he answered and that phrase unnerved Laura.

“Is he a vampire now?” she wimped gesturing with her nod to the crumpled body of her attacker.

“No,” the vampire answered, “He is dead.” With that statement, the creature seemed to chuckle.

“Will you kill me now?” Laura asked terrified at the answer.
