Fiona O’Reilly didn’t get it. Why would her best friend even consider submitting to her husband’s discipline? She was a grown woman, smart and yet she accepted being occasionally spanked. She just didn’t understand, but she knew they were in love. Love could be strange sometimes. Still, she couldn’t imagine ever letting some man turn her over his knee and apply his hand to her bottom. No, not possible. It did make her curious, though. And when she gets a chance as a freelance journalist to go undercover at a unique therapy place that specializes in “old-fashioned domestic discipline” and more, she hesitates but can’t resist the opportunity. It’s more than she expected for many reasons.

Armando Rossi knew that his was a strange career, being a professional Dom in a behavioral therapy practice that dealt in a physically applied method of therapy. He’d been groomed to go into the family wine business, but that hadn’t worked out. This fulfilled some of his needs. Yet he’d grown tired of his work. The surprising demand for his services was wearing on him. He needed a change, a new challenge. Then a beautiful young woman, clearly intelligent and far different from any other staff employee they have ever had, applies for the recently vacated maid position. After he loosely explains their “services,” he is certain she will leave the interview. When she doesn’t, he warns her there could be “consequences” for misbehavior or a job done poorly. Still, she insists she wants the job. He doesn’t for a second believe she’s really there for the maid job. He shouldn’t hire her and his partner definitely doesn’t want Fiona there. But he can’t resist this secretive woman or the challenge she brings to his life.
