The Call of Love :
PHOEBE MONTGOMERY has just found out men weren’t worth the trouble. Coming back to Chicago from a mission, she discovered Allen, her fiancé, his expensive suit pants and briefs down on his ankles, knelt down on his top floor office carpet, his face sunk between a gorgeous red-haired woman’s thighs lying on top of his desk her legs wide opened, heels pressing on the edge of the desk while his tongue thrust into her clenching depths and his hands massaged her swollen breasts.
Beside herself more out of her own stupid girlie naïvety than because of Allen’s betrayal –what could a woman expect from a fucking bastard anyway?- she decides it’s about time she moves to the next step in her life and drives back home to her grandmother’s ranch in North Dakota. A biologist, a vet and a world renowned ethologist, Phoebe has long wished to implement a project there that would anchor her life in her home city of Amourdale forever. And she doesn’t need a man for that. That’s good! She’s through with those fucking horny packs of hormones who only think women are down on Earth to meet their sexual drive needs.

All MORGAN JENKINS was dreaming of was a quiet break far away from the rustle and bustle of Chicago, from business and everybody’s expectations. After he painfully managed to get a divorce from his splendidly gorgeous looking world Top Model of a wife, Lucrecia Santorelli who betrayed him in the worst manner possible, Morgan decided a break at his grandmother’s would do him a lot of good. Well, that was what he had thought back then in Chicago. But life in Amourdale isn’t life in Chicago. Everybody knows everyone around. And worse, everyone helps everybody. And that’s how Morgan ends up doing some repairs on the ranch of his Granny’s best friend. That’s where he comes face to face with a stunning rebel with auburn hair and frightening green eyes who talks to photos, horse rides like a man in the forest reading footprints in the mud like a true Indian and mistakes him for a local odd-job man. Life has a way to turn your own life upside down.
Bad luck! Phoebe Montgomery, Dr Lily’s granddaughter, has just vowed all men out of her life, swearing she would never ever again get caught up into their messy unfaithful games. She’s got better things to do. Well, apparently that was just the kind of call Morgan’s hormones needed to kick some intent part of him back to life.
Unfortunately, Morgan made a wrong move and he lied by omission and enough is enough!
