Desperate to break her way into the world of journalism, 20-year old journalist Julie Bandis goes undercover inside the world of reclusive Texas billionaire Trent Rex. Things, however, do not go as plan when Julie's rouse is exposed. Now the young wannabe reporter finds herself submitting to the sexual bidding of the alpha billionaire known as the T. Rex.

Julie now finds herself working side-by-side with the billionaire as his personal assistant. She learns quickly that Mr. Rex always likes to dominate, whether it be in bed or in business. In short, the Texas T. Rex will stop at nothing to win, even if it means going to war with the infamous Mexican drug cartel Los Zetas.

To help her boss secure his oil operations in Veracruz, Mexico, Julie proposes an expose on Mr. Rex’s fight with the drug cartel. With the help of her former editor, Julie writes a blockbuster story on her boss’s exploits against Los Zetas. After the story is published, Mr. Rex is hailed as a hero - gaining praise of Washington politicians, who are more than eager to help the billionaire put an end to the world’s most dangerous drug cartel.

Thanks to Julie’s story, Mr. Rex gains many friends in Washington and many more enemies in Los Zetas. The drug cartel offers a fifty million dollar bounty for the head of the Texas billionaire. Now, Julie fears that her journalistic ambitions may end up killing the one man she truly loves.
