What happens when imagination collides with reality?

When unexpected thoughts and unspoken desires start populating the imagination of a married mother of two, should she swat them away, and keep living the life she has chosen? Concentrate on marital sex and cooking her husband’s dinner?

Perhaps she could write a blog under a pseudo-name (Lucrezia Borgia): on those pages, imaginary character Emma Bovary is free to live the alternative, fuller and exciting life the real person wishes for, separated from her own desires by two levels of fiction (Lucrezia and Emma).

When a real Mr Lost (by his wife) stumbles across Emma’s blog, how long will it take him to peel off the many layers of make-believe, and find the real woman?

And what, exactly, will be Lost?
