The East Wing by Leah Spiegel, Megan Summers
Piper Howse is the head Art Curator and Stand in Director for the Bostonian Arts Museum; known as just The Bostonian to the locals. She has been running the museum for the past five years since her boss is traveling the world trying to get over her late husband’s death.
On the surface, Piper appears to have everything under control with the perfect condo, career, stock portfolio, even the clothes she wears exudes a no nonsense type of confidence. That is until a mysterious man, Anson Griffith, supposed art dealer starts making outrageous demands for his client, Mr. Jacques, who is nowhere to be found when it comes to any of the details of his show.
Just when Piper thinks she will be done with Mr. Jacques’ exhibit and therefore thankfully Anson, a famous Degas drawing goes missing from the museum. Not only does she find herself in the middle of an investigation but her and her staffs’ careers are now on the line and for once the always persevering Piper doesn’t know what to do.
It is then that she has to make a choice, to continue to do things as she has always done or take a risk in both her personal and professional life. With the help of an unlikely source, Piper gets a chance to redeem herself and walk the thin line of setting things straight and getting some sweet revenge.
