Into Oblivion Falls by Mark Alders
Oblivion Falls is the solar system where the eternals have entered the human realm, bringing their homeworld, Parenthesis, a living crystal planet, with them. It is also Zane and Tink's first destination after they have dropped off Jacob and Callum in the dragon realm.

Zane and Tink are armed only with their advanced ship. It has no weapons, but is able to travel close to the speed of light, realm jump and phase shift. They also have their love for each other.

But is that enough?

Can they succeed in sending Parenthesis back to where it came by re-opening the portal? Or is the task too great and the fate of all of humanity, past, present and future, doomed? Sure, striking at the eternals right on their doorstep before they advance to Earth sounds like a plan. But nothing is easy. The eternals are determined to get their food. Humanity itself.

Author’s note, the stories that make up The Diary of the Eternal War are the Pembroke Eve Chronicles spin-off. This series is presented episodic style.
