The Indiscreet Ladies of Green Ivy Way by Alyssa Kress
Gideon Chandler is in trouble.

When a brilliant scientist takes off with the only known sample of a powerful, and potentially deadly, drug, Gideon, head of a top-secret government agency, knows his best chance of finding the scientist is by sending himself and two of his agents undercover to gain the confidence of her only close friends, her three neighbors.

Easier said than done. One of the neighbors happens to be Gideon’s estranged wife, Olivia, who thinks his secret-keeping is a marital communication problem. The second neighbor, Shana, is a man-eater determined to claim the virtue of Gideon’s bookish agent Dashwood. And the third neighbor, Brittany, is much too busy as a single mom to be melted by the charm of the heretofore irresistible agent Peter.

What’s a secret operative to do? Each pushes the boundaries of protocol to gain information, and each finds himself falling into ever more dangerous waters — romantic waters.
