A Matter of Trust

Jake’s reputation as a lady killer takes a hit when he falls for Trish and her two young children, Lexie and Trevor.

Trish has sworn off love after a disastrous marriage that left her in financial ruin, and she has no intention of getting involved with Jake or anyone else ever again. Her plate is overflowing with starting a new business and raising two kids on her own, and there is absolutely no room for a man in her life or for love in her heart.

Independence is one thing, but when it compromises health and happiness – not to mention love – Jake knows it’s time to reevaluate. Somehow he has to find a way to prove to Trish that trusting someone doesn’t always lead to betrayal.
