Forever Elude Me

I always followed the rules.
Until I went to Istanbul.
Until I met Tarek.
Perhaps I wasn't myself when I met him. Away from home, people often lose their self-restraint, like misplaced luggage, and do things they would ordinarily condemn in others.
Or perhaps ... this is the person I truly am. Bold. Shameless. Wicked.
Having been so cautious all my life, surely I can be forgiven this one mistake?
