Thirty-year-old Ginger Petrocelli didn't expect to be sitting in her tiny one-room apartment guzzling a hundred-dollar bottle of champagne. But that's what happens when you get stood up at the altar. And as if life weren't sucky enough, she's being questioned by a police detective as to the whereabouts of her M.I.A. fiance. Did we mention that the police detective also happens to be Ginger's first love? Lost job, missing fiance... She is forced to make the best out of a bad situation, (move in with her crazy mother and grandmother) and Ginger's summer is anything but ordinary.
