Broke and brokenhearted Richard Parker-Harris retreated to his sister's horse farm ostensibly to help with her wedding, but actually to con Susan Cade into helping him recoup his fortune. Though Richard couldn't stand horses - especially since his ex-fiancee had cuckolded him in the stables - Susan had an unusual talent for picking winners at the track. But his plans went quickly awry.
