In a story that is more horror than romance, Lauren Baker and Colt Norbrook find themselves relentlessly stalked by a man who has been dead for months. Harrison (Dream a Deadly Dream, Silhouette, 1993) spins a tense, occasionally terrifying story that is more violent and gory than the average romance-even those of the Gothic suspense or realistic medieval varieties. The horror aspect of the novel, however, detracts from the romance. Readers who enjoy horror would probably prefer Stephen King.
