Detective Molly Beck is hot on the trail of a Succubus Serial killer who is terrorizing Sedona, Arizona and leaving a trail of dead human men--or at least part of them. So she's pissed when her captain pairs her with a human partner who has a prejudice against anything supernatural. After punching his last boss in the mouth, Detective Mitch Guthrie is transferred to what he considers the worst position available for a cop-the SPOOK Squad (Special Paranormal Operations & Otherworldly Contact.) Now he-s neck deep in every supernatural beastie he can imagine-his worst nightmare since his father was killed by one. But his new partner, a kick-butt succubus who is also smart, determined and beautiful, is beginning to make him rethink his past prejudices. Can these two put aside their differences long enough to solve the case, and to possibly see more in each other than they first thought?
