Wayward Son by Diane Roth
He’s been exiled to south Texas by his tycoon father for his Hollywood party boy ways. And while it might not be Hell exactly, Lorenzo Maggio is pretty damned sure he’s close enough to smell the sulfur. He’s expected to mend his wicked ways, become a contributing member to the family business, and save the struggling Distribution Center in the middle of Nowhere, Texas. To make matters worse, his new administrative assistant reminds him of Tinkerbelle, the pissed off fairy with her big blue eyes, knock-out curves, and take no prisoners attitude. She thinks she runs the place, and is about as welcoming as a snarling Doberman behind a rusted chain link fence. So much for Texas hospitality.

Callie Cameron has helped more than her share of corporate deadbeats move along to their eventual destination on the career ladder at Italia Carpet and Tile. It makes no difference to her which way they go as long as they stay out of her way and let her run the place like she always has. This latest corporate offering won’t be any different from the rest, in spite of his runner’s legs, Hollywood looks, and bone-melting smile. There’s no way she’s going to forget the heartbreaks in her past and put herself in a position to lose again.

But wildfire ignites in unlikely places at the most unexpected times … especially in Texas.
