Ciao, Baby
Elaine Dyer
Brad had searched for the only woman he’d ever loved for over a year before he’d finally given up and accepted that Perri had no desire to be found and what he’d thought they’d shared had obviously been as fake as the woman who’d professed her undying love for him that he’d believed in so strongly. When he sees her in an advertisement for her new restaurant, he decides to confront her and demand an explanation for her disappearance. But when he finally catches up with her, he’s shocked to find the tables turned and faces her anger rather than her apology, although he can’t imagine what she could possibly be so angry about when he was the one betrayed.
It’s not until Perri is nearly killed in a robbery at her restaurant that Brad discovers he’s not only a father but that Perri and her family believe he deserted her, rather than the other way around. Before he can profess his innocence, he first has to discover what really happened several years ago and embarks on a discovery full of treachery that ends in the ultimate betrayal. Once he finds the truth, will he be able to convince Perri to give their love a try, or will it be goodbye all over again?
