Anthony Chambers is set to inherit half of his Great Uncle Cedric's Australian homestead if he leaves England and spends one year at the homestead with his uncle's live-in companion, Annie. Anthony is sure the American is his uncle's mistress, and he's anxious to meet the woman smart enough to take his uncle's money and dumb enough to have a child out of wedlock.
