Broodmare Bride by Jackie Carl
Morgan Tyler Ward was given an ominous ultimatum by his grandfather. Upon threat of losing his bluegrass home and inheritance, he was ordered to find a woman to wed and bed in order to produce heirs for the sprawling Ward Hall horse breeding farm. While attempting to fulfill this quest, he was brought face-to-face in a head-to-head contest of wills and wits with a temperamental, redheaded Irish belle of the South. Try as he might, he found out he couldn’t easily tame the free-spirited filly he forced into matrimony.

Bonnie Belle Beckett had no intention of becoming any man’s broodmare bride even if that man was dangerously handsome and richer than King Solomon! As an independent-minded female attorney, this woman knew her rights under the law! Yet, rights or wrongs, marital bondage was forced upon her. Her arranged marriage might suit her new husband’s breeding plans, but by the Good Lord’s mercy, it didn’t suit hers!

As a tempestuous maelstrom of matrimonial mayhem rages, volatile tempers begin giving way to undeniable nuptial magnetism. Was there hope for love when marriage begins with marital enslavement? Would Belle Beckett’s rebellious heart surrender to the smoldering passions engendered by Morgan Ward’s insistent conjugal courtship?
