Under a Crescent Moon by Violette Dubrinsky
When Azaleigh Montclaire inherits the assets of a deceased aunt she’s met twice, to say she’s shocked is a huge understatement. Still, she’s thrown completely off kilter to find out those assets also include a six-and-a-half foot, dark-haired, green-eyed giant of a man who falls to his knees and swears to protect her with his life. Not only is he gorgeous, the man—creature—claims he’s her Protector, or in human terms: zombie. Things grow even stranger when Azaleigh learns she’s the new Guardian witch of the town of Hallows Brook, and the Night Walkers, fiendish bloodsucking vampires, will massacre everyone if she doesn’t learn the right spells in a hurry.

Victor St. Croix is a Protector, an immortal whose sole purpose is the safety of a witch. After Antoinette’s death, Victor is sworn to her niece, whose laughing brown eyes and generous curves make him itch with the need to possess her.

With the Night Walkers closing in, and their relationship blossoming into something neither expected, Azaleigh and Victor have a tough battle ahead. In Hallows Brook, things are never as they seem, and the lines between Protector and Guardian are soon tested.
