Forever Summer by Elaine Dyer
Summer Alvarez is successful, independent, and a loner by choice. Since losing her family as a child, she decided long ago that it was better to only rely on herself and to avoid any close relationships. In between jobs, she answers an ad for a bilingual teacher for a preschooler, the daughter of Gabriel Rodrigo, a world famous singer and entertainer. Although the idea of world travel is enticing, the reason she feels compelled to accept the position, despite her instant dislike for Gabe, is his adorable little girl, Marisol.
Gabe is used to women throwing themselves at him and after a disastrous marriage, he’s learned not to trust women, especially attractive women like Summer. Intrigued despite himself, he hires her to tutor his four year old while he tours Europe. It doesn’t take long for Gabe to realize that Summer is altogether different from any woman he’s ever met. Aside from her beauty and intelligence, and aside from the fact that she’d great with his daughter, what he finds most fascinating is the fact that she’d not the least bit interested in him or anything he has to offer.
Taking her on a family vacation to Spain, Gabe decides to take a chance and act on the strong attraction he feels toward Summer. But will Summer ever consider him as anything other than her employer, and can he charm his way into her well barricaded heart?
